rail secures the hanger and prevents removal
- Heavy gauge construction - 11/2½(38mm) square tube, type 304 stainless steel
- Shipped knocked-down, saving in freight costs and damages
- 14 gauge hanger rails with hanger slots spaced on standard 3½ (76mm) centers.
Other spacing, down to 11/2½ (38mm) centers, available (see reverse side). Slots designed to retain gowns in a fixed position by allowing the hangers (not included)to swing front-to-back but not left-to-right, while the shape facilitates a smoother laminar flow than many square hanger rails
- Standard 2½ (51mm) diameter, nylon dissipative feet with 1/2½ (13mm) adjustability. Optional foot plates available to affix gowning rack to the floor
Design & Construction Features - Vertical supports are constructed of heavy gauge type 304 stainless steel 11⁄2˝ (38mm)
square tubing, fully welded, ground and polished to its original finish. Each unit is supplied with four adjustable feet that are constructed to dissipate a static charge
- Horizontal supports are bolted to vertical uprights using stainless steel bolts. Constructed of
1˝ (25mm) O.D. type 304 stainless steel tubing with heavy gauge stainless steel backing plate. The bolts are covered with a stainless steel cap to eliminate any crevasses in which dust might settle
- Hanger rail is constructed of heavy gauge type 304 stainless steel with hanger slots located every 3" (76mm) along the length of the rail. Other spacing available on all units
- Finishes available are 304 series stainless steel with #4 satin or electropolished finish.

Design & Construction Features - All units feature wire shelf, which consists of a top mat assembly using 10 gauge mat wires welded to full length 6 gauge inside support wires and serpentine trusses. Mat wires are welded to a four-wire truss assembly at front and rear of shelf constructed of a 2 gauge bottom wire, a 6 gauge serpentine truss wire which creates a bridge-like reinforcement, and two 6 gauge top wires — one directly below mat wires and one directly above —which provide a pincer hold on mat wires
- Posts are 1˝ (25mm) diameter, grooved on 1˝ (25mm) increments, and feature leveling feet to compensate for uneven floors
- Racks with hanger slots– Hanger bar constructed of heavy gauge type 304 stainless steel with hanger slots spaced on 21⁄2˝ (64mm) centers. This style of rack features a 1˝ (25mm) square 3-sided frame along the bottom
- Racks with hooks– Top wire shelf features 2 gauge hooks welded to underside of top wire shelf. This style of rack features a standard wire undershelf
- Racks with hanger tube– 1˝ (25mm)-diameter hanger tube is full length, grooved at 1˝ (25mm)increments, and is suspended on underside of wire shelf via two 2-gauge hooks, one on each end. This style of rack features a 1"(25mm) square H-frame along the bottom
- Finishes available are chrome and stainless steel finish
